Adnams has been proud to be the main sponsors of the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival since it began back in 2006. The festival is widely regarded as one of the best in Britain and is a celebration of the fantastic quality and variety of food & drink available throughout Suffolk.
We?ve got an even bigger presence at the festival this year so you have plenty of opportunity to come and say hello!
In the Courtyard you?ll find our famous Boat Bar which will be serving Adnams beers and wines. By its side is the Adnams Cellar & Kitchen Beach Hut selling a range of wines, kitchenware and gifts.
The Adnams Copper House Distillery stand is situated inside the main marquee where you can sample the range of Adnams spirits distilled right here in Southwold. The Festival will be the first opportunity to sample (and of course buy!) Adnams Sloe Gin ? if it?s anything like as popular as our Limoncello, we suggest you snap up your bottle while stocks last!
We?ll also be running FREE workshops.
The Boat Bar at last year's Festival
On Saturday & Sunday Head Brewer Fergus Fitzgerald will host a tutored beer tasting, whilst Andy Baker, Manager of our Woodbridge Cellar & Kitchen will do the same with wine. On Saturday only there will be a tutored Adnams spirits tasting with our Distiller John McCarthy. Places on the workshops are limited and you are advised to book early at the Information Desk.
Finally, let?s not forget Tyler Torrance! Tyler joined us recently as Head Chef at The Crown Hotel in Southwold. Tyler will be showing off his talents on the Marquee Stage on Saturday and the Courtyard Stage on Sunday.
